Why Albuquerque Teams Drive 25 Minutes South
The work we’re built for: complex, multi-process and often too big for most local shops.
Large-part machining
Our Haas VF11 machines parts up to roughly 120 × 40 × 30 in. We weld the frame, then machine it to print in the same building.
Optics-grade fine-thread machining
Lens cells, mounts and barrels with fine threads many shops decline. The work behind our aerospace optics programs.
One shop, drawing to finished unit
Machining, welding, sheet metal, cutting, finishing and assembly here. One PO, one schedule, no parts shuttling across town.
Engineers who quote with drawings
Complex bids get a SolidWorks model and proposal drawing, with notes on where a change cuts cost or lead time.
Controlled-program ready
ITAR registered, with secure file handling for controlled and CUI work.
Close enough to drive the part
Review a drawing, inspect a first article on our floor, or have us deliver to Kirtland, the labs or Rio Rancho.

25 Minutes from Albuquerque, Not 2,500 Miles
Our shop at 1040 Bosque Farms Blvd is about 18 miles south of downtown Albuquerque. Close enough to review a drawing at your bench or ours, inspect a first article in person, and deliver large assemblies on our schedule, not a freight carrier’s.
We serve Kirtland AFB, the national labs, Rio Rancho, the South Valley, Los Lunas, Belen and central New Mexico, and ship cleanroom equipment nationwide.

Is Pro-Fab the Right Fit for Your Part?
Send us
Multi-process assemblies, large weldments that need machining, fine-thread and optics parts, custom cleanroom equipment, and 1–20 piece prototype or pilot runs.
Probably not our shop for
5-axis contouring, wire EDM, or high-volume single-process parts priced as a commodity. We're happy to point you to someone who is.

Frequently asked questions
Are you located in Albuquerque?
We're in Bosque Farms, about 18 miles and 25 minutes south of downtown Albuquerque. Most of our customers are in the metro, and we deliver there regularly.
Do you deliver to Kirtland AFB and the national labs?
Yes, on our own truck, working around badge and dock requirements.
What's the largest part you can machine?
Our Haas VF11 handles parts up to roughly 120 × 40 × 30 in. Larger? Send it anyway and we'll tell you quickly.
Can you handle ITAR and CUI drawings?
Yes. Pro-Fab is ITAR registered and handles controlled files securely.
Do you take small quantities?
Yes. One- to 20-piece prototype and pilot runs are core work for us.
What are typical lead times?
It will depend on the complexity of your project but every quote states a realistic lead time.
What do I need to send for a quote?
A drawing or CAD file (STEP, SolidWorks, PDF), quantity, material and finish. A sketch works too.
